Walking Through Fiery Trials

Fiery trials are not a sign that God has abandoned you. They are proof that He loves you too much to leave you as you are. Just as a refiner uses intense heat to remove impurities from gold and silver, God uses seasons of struggle to purify our faith, shape our character, and draw us closer to Him. Four truths can anchor us when we are in the middle of the fire. Trials reveal our faith by exposing where it is truly placed. They refine our faith by removing what does not belong. They are temporary, because every season of struggle is followed by relief when we press into God. And remarkably, we are called to rejoice in them, not after them, because of the living hope we have in Jesus Christ.
